Knit & Natter

The Knit and Natter Group is held on the second Thursday each month, in the Hedge End Village Hall - Committee Room. 

The cost is £15 per person to cover hire of the Committee Room for six months. 

Please bring your needles, hooks and wool and we will discuss what everyone would like to work on.

Pilates 
 A small, friendly Pilates class in the village hall, focused on strength, balance, and wellbeing. Suitable for all abilities, with personalised guidance in a calm, welcoming space.

Art Club

A welcoming art club in the village hall, encouraging creativity, learning, and fun. Open to all skill levels, with relaxed sessions exploring drawing, painting, and imaginative projects.

Performing Arts Company
 
The Performing Arts Company is a very successful amateur theatre company based in Hedge End near Southampton.
 
Set up in Hedge End in 1992 for the benefit of the young people of the local area, to perform in the arts under constructive learning to performance level. In the last 30+ years we have rehearsed and performed over 100 productions, from musicals, murder mysteries, pantomimes and concerts.

 HSGK is open to both junior and adult students. It doesn't matter if you are fit or unfit old or young over weight or under weight we can teach you traditional karate to the highest standards.

Sing Now Choir

A community choir launched in 2015 with the belief that singing is for everyone. We remain proudly inclusive, welcoming all voices — no auditions, no experience needed. Whether you’ve sung for years or are trying it for the first time, you’ll find a warm, supportive place to belong.

Fitness Class 

A lively fitness class in the village hall, designed to boost strength, stamina and confidence. Friendly, motivating sessions suitable for all abilities, with simple routines that get everyone moving. A welcoming space to feel fitter, energised and part of a supportive community.

Southampton Car Racing Club

Southampton Car Racing Club brings together enthusiasts who love speed, skill and friendly competition. A welcoming community for newcomers and seasoned racers alike, the club hosts regular meets, practice sessions and events that celebrate the excitement of motorsport. A great place to connect, learn and enjoy the thrill of racing.

Clubbersize
 Dance Cardio & Tone brings high‑energy fitness to the village hall — glowing sticks, disco lights and upbeat routines in the dark create a fun, full‑body workout. Expect boosted stamina, improved strength and a party atmosphere that keeps everyone moving.

Hedge End Indoor Bowls
 
Indoor Bowls welcomes all abilities for friendly, relaxed play in the village hall. Enjoy a warm community atmosphere, gentle exercise and plenty of support for beginners. Come along for a free taster session and see how easy it is to get involved.

Hedge End Pre School

Hedge End Village Hall Preschool provide childcare in a home from home, safe, loving and stimulating environment and have been running for over 50 years.

Heart Rehab

A gentle heart rehab class offering safe, supervised exercise to support recovery and long‑term heart health. Sessions focus on mobility, strength and confidence, with a friendly atmosphere and guidance tailored to all abilities. A calm, encouraging space to rebuild fitness at your own pace.

 Sound Bath - Relaxing Sounds

Allow yourself to be gently guided on a healing sound journey, immersed in the beautiful vibrations of crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, shamanic drum, and a variety of therapeutic percussion instruments. As the sounds wash over you, they can help ease stress, quiet the mind, promote deep relaxation, and support a sense of balance and renewal.
